When this lovely lady is not winning awards for her song writing and singing she is an avid fly fisher and fly tyer with a great sense of humor.

Classic salmon flies are both beautiful and challenging. Many consider tying them to be the pinnacle of fly tying craftsmanship. As you see here Hakan has certainly well on his way to reaching this fly tying summit. The first pattern is The Baron and the second is the Sir Richard.

Wally Nowak from Meaford, ON, CA ties lovely flies like this one at fly tying shows for the enjoyment and instruction of all who are interested. As you can see Wally has learned his craft well. This fly is his version of a reduced Jock Scott tied Spey style.

Gary designed these two versions of the adult damsel fly a couple of decades ago as easy to tie, imitative, floating fly patterns. Where these insects are common the fish that share the water with them will at times, take them with serious gusto. The first is a fully matured adult of a common color pattern and the second is the teneral, or early hatched, adult before full color transformation.

I was lucky enough to be the winning bidder for these flies. The first fly is the Gordon. The second fly is the Sherbrook.

Stack is not only a well known physician but also a well known and well published fly tyer of Classic Salmon, Spey, and Rangeley Streamers. The first fly is a Purple King Spey fly, the second is a pink Spey fly, and the third a variation of the Carrie Stevens Pink Beauty streamer.
