Tail: Topping with sprigs of tippet
Butt: Black ostrich
Body: Three turns of yellow silk floss; remainder gold color seals fur
Rib: Silver oval tinsel
Hackle: Gold color
with black center from floss joint; tuft of gold color mohair at
shoulder (here Coq de
Leon cape hackle feather white with black list and tips dyed gold)
Wing: Gold color mohair and bronze peacock herl (two-thirds
mohair, one-third herl) arranged
approximately 2/3 of the mohair over the peacock herl over 1/3 of the
mohair)
Head:
Black thread covered with clear finish (here 6/0 Gudebrod BCS#118,
finished first with Griffs thin
head cement and then several coats of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails clear
nail polish)
