No sport or game has had as long, and as extensive, a literature history
as has fly fishing and its companion craft fly tying. This large body of
written and visual material creates one of the greatest joys to members
of the brotherhood of the angle. This body of work is one of the truly
unique attributes of fly fishing and one that every fly fisherman should
indulge in.
